The Defense Entrepreneurs Forum has a number of different programs, activities and ways in which it pursues our mission, vision and core values as we promote a culture of innovation in the U.S. national security community.

This site is a quick way to dig-in on what that means for those who want to do more than just participate as members: this site is built for those with a passion for leading and developing communities. It is a living site and intended to help shape not just how we are communicating as a team, but ensure there is transparency across the community, particularly with those at the front of the charge.

If you are reading this then it means you are already taking a step towards steering the DEF Community space, either with a local Agora, a virtual event or something similar.

Thank you for taking that step, for partnering with us to inspire, connect and empower those who are doing the work of innovation in the defense and intelligence professions - the virtuous insurgency depends on your enthusiasm, critical thinking, and selfless service to survive.

If you have questions or ideas, feel free to post in lt-agoras in Slack so we can keep track and get a variety of different inputs.

As with anything in DEF, and the culture of DoD, IC, and more that we are shaping, this is a team sport. Your sense of personal responsibility in owning the mission and vision will go a long way in making a real impact (and not just getting stuck at big talk).
